Personal Experience
Joanne M. Badeaux is sensitive to the clients and the issues that can arise when planning for our loved ones’ illness or death. Both attorneys have first-hand experience of being named as agents in their parents’ Powers of Attorney. Joanne knows how difficult it can be to have parents in critical conditions and to have to make decisions for them and give instructions to doctors, hospital staff and nursing home facilities on their parents’ behalf.
Further, Joanne M. Badeaux volunteered in hospitals where she witnessed first-hand families’ confusion when using the Medical Powers of Attorney and Directives to Physician for their loved ones. Because of that experience, Badeaux & Associates includes unique instructions in its Medical Powers of Attorney and Directives to Physician for the purpose of easing the family members’ use of those documents at the critical time of hospitalization, nursing home or assisted living.
